6-Hour Professional Standards Enforcement Training - Virtual 

6 CE Credits / $60

Learn about the Professional Standards enforcement process and the vital role REALTOR® volunteers play in ethics and arbitration matters. This course will identify the most important policies and procedures that committee members need to know while serving on the Grievance Committee or as a member of a hearing panel. Basic knowledge of the system will be reinforced by case studies using the appropriate forms and following the recommended guidelines.

The objective is to make every REALTOR® volunteer an effective and efficient member of the Professional Standards System. This course is required every two years for all members of CAR’s Professional Standards Committee. New Committee members must take the course before serving on a hearing panel or on the Grievance Committee.

This course is scheduled for two days. Attendees must participate on both days to qualify. 


Handouts will be provided electronically 2 days before the class date.


To qualify for CE credit, all participants must complete the polling questions throughout the session, attend the class with their camera on, and be in view of their camera for the entire duration of the session.


Meet the Instructor:

Diane Disbrow has been an active REALTOR® in New Jersey for over 42 years and was involved in the management of her and her husband’s independent real estate company for 33 years. Diane has been active on the Professional Standards, Legal Action, and Risk Management Committees at the local, state, and national levels for many years, serving as Chair of NAR’s Professional Standards Committee twice and the Risk Management License Law Committee. Due to her extensive knowledge, she has launched a successful career as a real estate instructor and lecturer, presenting numerous educational programs for the National Association of REALTORS® and various local and state associations nationwide.

This 6 CE Course is held over two days: November 14th from 9:00am - 1:00pm MT and November 15th from
9:00am - 1:00pm MT.
